If You Could Give God A Gift.

Have you ever stopped to think about what God does all day. I mean you hear people say "He's busy tending to wars and disasters, He doesn't have time to concern Himself with me and my problems." Now for many of us we know that such a statement is foolish. But there are many who think this way. So I will ask you again, what do you believe God does all day? Sit on his throne passing judgement? Are you one that believes that God has left the building and that He has given up on humanity?

I challenge you to ask this question to five people, ten even twenty and see if you get an answer. Most people to include believers just don't know the answer to this question. Now do I profess to "Know"? I will tell you that which I believe. IT IS GOD'S DESIRE EVERYDAY TO ENJOY HIS CHILDREN. Think about that. This is the day the Lord has made, will you rejoice and be glad in it? Will you allow God to enjoy you has his child today, tomorrow and forever?

If you could give God a gift, what would you give Him. Some would say "my whole heart" or "all of me" but lets remember salvation is a gift and righteousness is also a free gift. So when we receive or give our hearts to Christ, we are the ones that are receiving a gift. So the question still remains. If you could give God a gift, what would you give to Him.

Lets get past piety cons such as "I would lay down my life for him" well he as already beat you to the punch on that one and contrary to popular belief He has no need for you to die anytime soon. So keep on living baby! Some would say "I would trade all the silver and gold for him." well He owns all the silver and gold, there again piety is blinding the effort. Plus the silver and gold is here for you to enjoy. Now I'm a firm believer in tithing, but lets be real. Tithing goes to the church and still benefits us. We get the nice buildings with the a/c and other comforts.

I stated earlier that, God wants to enjoy you or his children all day, everyday. We got that part sir, you may be saying, but how can we give a gift to All Mighty God who has everything. The only thing you can "give" directly to The Heavenly Father is PRAISE. Praise and thanks giving are the only gifts you can give directly to God Himself. Do you praise God everyday. Is God enjoying you, everyday? (without faith its impossible to PLEASE HIM) I'm not talking about posting a praise on facebook or myspace. I mean a life filled with daily PRAISE TO HIM!

I challenge you to start allowing God to enjoy you everyday. I challenge you to make this simple demand of yourself throughout everyday and that is to PRAISE GOD NOW! It will change everything for the better. PRAISE GOD! PRAISE GOD! PRAISE GOD!

The Forbidden Art of Victorious Living

In today’s culture we are taught to “think” in certain, nonproductive ways. To see a striking example of this simply turn on your tv and flick to most any news program. Again and again we are told if only our president was different, or if that member of Congress hadn’t done such and such, then our nation/economy/moral fiber would be fine. We have been turned into a Nation of Blame.

We are taught that if only our parents had raised us differently, or we hadn’t had that crazy or abusive uncle/co-worker/sibling, life would be easy. This has created the mindset of once everyone else gets their act together, I can be happy. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The bible teaches us, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” The art of victorious living requires each and every one of us to take responsibility for our lives, and this can be the most life altering change of all.

Once we stop looking outward for change and instead look inward, the law of attraction shifts into high gear. Life is far fairer than we have been taught to believe. I truly believe that anyone who understands and applies this can create the life they dream of.

The first step in building your new, victorious life is to understand that the law of attraction is working all the time, behind the scenes, 24/7. It is bringing together, in the most precise and calculated fashion, situations and events that affect your life. These events can be either for or against you, after all, you created them.

Our thoughts and words, which are based on our beliefs and emotions, create the worlds we find ourselves living in. It’s truly that powerful, it’s truly that amazing. “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” (Proverbs 23:7)

Once we gain control of our thoughts and words, we begin to alter our beliefs to conform to them. Be careful of what you say. If you think you’ve been unlucky, have you really? Or did your current set of beliefs lead you to the forgone conclusion of events to get you to that “unlucky” spot?

The same can be said for being “lucky” or “blessed.” Is that the case? Or did our underlying core beliefs manifest the good situations we subsequently found ourselves in.

I challenge you to begin to change your thoughts and words today. I challenge you to begin, right now, to take responsibility for your life today. Because only by doing that can you truly create your own world and apply the forbidden art of victorious living.
